Kirklees Cancels Weekend Matches January 7 and 8

Football and rugby matches on council-managed pitches in Kirklees this weekend have been cancelled after consultation with local leagues.

The pitches are saturated following heavy rain over the last few days and the pitches are in an unplayable condition and the decision has been taken to cancel all matches. Safety inspections will be made of the ground conditions by grounds maintenance staff and there will be an extra effort to prepare the pitches for future fixtures

AFC Black Horse Resign

AFC Black Horse have tendered the resignation of their Division Four team from the league.

As a result of the resignation all AFC Black Horse fixtures and results have been removed from the league

Yorkshire Lions Reserves and New Mill 94 Reserves Resign

Yorkshire Lions have tendered the resignation of their Reserve Division Four team from the league.

Similarly New Mill 94 have tendered the resignation of their Reserve Division Three team

As a result of the two resignations their fixtures have been removed from the league schedule.

Huddersfield YMCA Resign

Huddersfield YMCA have tendered the resignation of their Division Three team from the league.

As a result of YMCA's resignation the Wednesday evening fixtures have been revised.

In addition Spotted Cow have changed their name to be Waggon and Horses, all other details remain the same.
